Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods:

It is currently about 70 degrees and sunny out.  They say we are going to get some rain tomorrow (we'll see) but the rest of the week is sunny and in the 80's.

Things that make me happy:

Not having to babysit this week!

Book I'm reading:

Private by James Patterson & Maxine Pateo

What I'm enjoying on TV:

True Blood on HBO
Intervention on A&E
Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime
Teen Mom on MTV

On the menu for dinner:

Chicken Tortilla Soup

On my To Do List:

Laundry (as usual)
Vacuum
Pay bills

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:

Cake lollipops

In the craft basket:

Landon's 1st year Scrapbook (he's 2 1/2 now)

Looking forward to this week:
No extra kids this week and getting Kaiden's soccer stuff and Lexi's dance stuff.  Oh, and ordering tickets for the Carrie Underwood concert in September.
Tips and Tricks:

To get ballpoint pen ink out of clothes:  Spray hairspray on it before you wash it and then stain treat it.  Come right out!

My favorite blog post this week:
Unsure....

Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):

I have found so many awesome blogs this week but the one that really sticks out right now is Candace's Book Blog @ http://candacesreadingblog.blogspot.com/
No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share):

Lesson learned the past few days:

Make sure the kids' bedroom doors are closed when they aren't here or the cats take over (two cat accidents this weekend in the kids' room...they had fresh, clean litter so what the heck??)!
On my mind:
Getting my preschool classroom ready, getting the best savings possible while grocery shopping tomorrow.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Consider it pure joyy brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

James 1:2-4
