Menu Planning Monday


It is our week off from babysitting and the week before school.  Between us having some family time, doing some before school shopping and me getting my classroom ready, we are busy!  That is why I am SO thankful to my friend Marie for showing me how easy it is to put togeether a menu for a week!  Now I will have the answer to that dreaded question "what's for dinner?"! 

Here's my menu for this week:

Monday
Breakfast:  Toast with Nutella or Peanut Butter, Cantaloupe, milk or juice

Lunch:  Cheese pizza, apple slices w/peanut butter, frozen peas, juice or water

Snack:  String cheese, goldfish, water

Dinner:  Chicken Tortilla soup, juice or milk

Tuesday
Breakfast:  Waffles, milk or juice

Lunch:  We will be in town so we will be eating out

Snack:  Fruit Snacks, carrot sticks, water

Dinner:  Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, milk

Wednesday
Breakfast:  Cereal, toast, milk or juice

Lunch:  Spaghettios, string cheese, green beans, grapes

Snack:  Popcorn, apple slices, water

Dinner:  Hamburger Gravy over rice, broccoli w/cheese sauce, strawberries, milk or juice

Thursday
Breakfast:  Sausage, scrambled eggs, juice or milk

Lunch:  Chicken Nuggets, Pears, juice or milk

Snack:  Nilla Wafers, cantaloupe, water

Dinner:  Chicken enchiladas, spanish rice, corn, pears, milk or juice

Friday
Breakfast:  Waffles, bananas, milk or juice

Lunch:  Macaroni and Cheese w/hot dogs, grapes, carrot sticks, milk or juice

Snack:  Yogurt, strawberries, milk or juice

Dinner:  Homemade chili, cornbread, appleasauce, milk or juice

Saturday
Breakfast:  Cereal, toast, milk or juice

Lunch:  Toasted cheese sandwiches w/ tomato soup, milk or juice

Snack:  Carrot sticks, apple slices w/ cheddar cheese, water or juice

Dinner:  Steak, baked potato, corn on the cob, fresh peaches, milk or juice

Sunday
Breakfast:  Bacon or sausage, pancakes, milk or juice

Lunch:  Fish sticks, tatertots, green beans, strawberries, milk or juice

Snack:  Chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, milk or juice

Dinner:  Baked Macaroni & Cheese (with ham) casserole, cooked carrots, cantaloupe, milk or juice
