Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Popular Authors I've Never Read

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  This week's top ten is ten popular authors I've never read.

Sarah Ockler
I own several of her books but haven't gotten around to reading her yet

Fixing Delilah Bittersweet

Becca Fitzpatrick
I have the whole Hush, Hush series but again, they sit on my Nook and wait for me to get to them!
Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1)    Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2)  Silence (Hush, Hush, #3)

Meg Cabot
I have a bunch of her books too (do you see a trend here?) and my daughter loves the Princess Diaries series so I have to get going on these to see why.  I did love the movie though!
Abandon (Abandon Trilogy, #1)  The Princess Diaries (The Princess Diaries, #1)

Lauren DeStefano
I have read such great reviews about her books and again, I have them all so just need to get to them!
Wither (The Chemical Garden, #1)  Perfect Ruin (Internment Chronicles, #1)

Brenna Yovanoff
Her books look so creepy to me and I just bought Fiendish!  I can't wait to read some of them!

The Replacement  The Space Between Fiendish

Cynthia Hand
Again, I have the whole Unearthly series but haven't read it yet.  I really need to get moving, huh?

Unearthly (Unearthly, #1)  Hallowed (Unearthly, #2) Boundless (Unearthly, #3)

Allie Condie
I bet you can't guess what I'm gonna say...yep, have the whole series but nope, haven't read them!

Matched (Matched, #1)  Crossed (Matched, #2) Reached (Matched, #3)

Rachel Vincent
I really want to read her Soul Screamers series.  It looks amazing!

My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, #1) My Soul to Save (Soul Screamers, #2)

Veronica Roth
I've recently bought the Divergent series and I am looking forward to getting it read.

Divergent (Divergent, #1) Insurgent (Divergent, #2)

Rachel Hawkins
She's another author that I am excited to read!  I love books about witches so this should be right up my alley!

Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) Demonglass (Hex Hall, #2)

I think what I have figured out from this post is that I need to get reading more of my TBR pile!

  1. Oh I love your polka dots!!! Anyway I haven't read very many on your list either. I do love love love Sarah Ockler though. Bittersweet was my fav of hers (Twenty Boy Summer is good too). Meg Cabot writes really cute books. Princess Diaries was adorable (I only read the 1st one though). I was NOT a fan of Wither, but a lot of people are so you might like it. Dystopians are not really my thing :(

Thanks for stopping by My TTT

  2. Oh wow! See lots of authors on here I already read and love!! Where to begin?!

Becca's series was pretty good! One of my first angel books, so yeah I liked that one!

Meg is awesome! Her recent trilogy with Abandon was a really good Persephone retelling! Love Greek mythology, but it was her Mediator series that made me a fan for life! And that's just her one and only paranormal series, but I found it during my "dark" days when there wasn't many paranormal YA books around. So that series was my shining light! Ironic since it's about a teenage mediator who sees ghosts and see morbid a bit to other people!

Rachel Vincent, love love love her books! Her Shifter series was just incredible and I totally loved her YA one too!

Rachel Hawkins was hilarious! I was leery of the series at first, but ended up really loving it!

Veronica Roth she was practically my first dystopian book and I loved it!

Cynthia Hand, I still need to finish this series, probably have to start over, but I did like it! More angels but definitely had a different spin to it. From what I can recall! ;)

    Here's my Tuesday post

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. I almost put Becca Fitzpatrick on my list. I read both of those Sarah Ockler books and liked them. Fixing Delilah was much better than I even expected. I've read a lot of Meg Cabot books, but nothing lately. The Princess Diaries books weren't my favorites of hers. I actually preferred her middle grade series, Allie Finkel, to just about everything else of hers, I think. I read the first two Unearthly books but haven't finished the series yet. I will! I just haven't gotten to it.

  5. Veronica Roth made my list too. So many shocked responses that I haven't. Glad I am not the only one. Rachel Hawkins is one I hope to look into somewhat soon. Here’s my TTT .
